Join us this January 2021 at a virtual event to learn more about mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

At Big Brothers Big Sisters, we see every day how kids start to believe in themselves because a Big Brother or Big Sister believed in them. When kids have a mentor, they are more likely to succeed in school and life. This National Mentoring Month, join us in defending potential. Become a mentor today.

"Being a Big Brother is rewarding. Looking at this picture makes me remember how I used to be taller than Quran. I will never forget having witnessed him grow and mature and develop into the strong individual that he is. Just being involved is what makes the difference." - Maurice Gallimore
Did you know?
  • More than 300 children are waiting to be matched to a mentor.
  • Over 70% of kids on the waitlist are boys living in single-parent households.

Mentors (“Bigs”) make a one-year commitment and typically meet for at least one hour per week with their mentee (“Little”).

Matches focus on:
  • Increasing academic achievement
  • Building social skills
  • Creating healthy lifestyles.

Bigs and Littles participate in diverse activities: Doing homework, passing a football, crafting, or learning a new skill together

Not ready to #BeBig? That's okay...help us find, match, and grow mentors instead.

Starting with as little as $15/month, you can support a mentoring match throughout the year.

This makes a BIG IMPACT. Monthly support provides on-going coaching to Bigs, Littles, and their families on important topics like child safety and cultural competency.

If you can't be a Big, be a Match Maker!
